A Friend's Book Launch... CLUB BUTTER. I'm heading there tonight at 10 pm. I'm feeling less than excited about it so I hope there are some interesting people there. My biggest gripe I guess is that during the week I enjoy kicking back after 8:30 and eating a snack with Dan, the hubby. Saying goodnight to the teens and then trying to get my toddler off to sleep so that Dan and I can have some playtime. Driving to the city on a cold night and going alone and paying for the gas and parking...just to show my face at a book launch is just not a priority for me that late during the week. If it was a weekend it would be so much more enjoyable. SO... I guess I'll just stop crabbing and just make believe it is a weekend night and I'm sure I'll create a great time. They say it is all in the attitude so I need to perk mine up a bit. By the way.. In my senior class I was voted most optimistic. Go figure.---- Donna
