Getting sick sucks

There's nothing worse in my opinion, than feeling sick. Yesterday, I awoke feeling like total and utter crap. Feverish with a definite head cold. Since I'm an announcer by day, a cold is truly detrimental for me. I can handle stomach issues, aches and pains cause that doesnt affect my voice, but a cold?? Jesus! Just kill me now please!

On a good note, its the weekend, and since I was fired last month from my weekend radio DJ gig, I now have TWO full days to recuperate. My recuperation began at 8pm last night with me taking an unmeasured amount of Nyquil since somehow Andrew has obsconded with the measuring cap. He plays innocent and that works for him. I promptly pass out on the couch at 8:30 pm and wind up sleeping through 2 phones calls from my beloved Nyquil measuring cap obsconder boyfriend. At midnight, I awake, completely confused and feeling comatose. I manage to ring Andrew and have a two sentence conversation that went something like this:

A: Hey!
L: I'm sleepin nnn am sooo tiredddd
A: Oh no! Go back to bed...I love you!
L: luuuuv uuuu toooooooo

Receiver clicks back onto cradle. Then I'm out for another 30 minutes, when suddenly my brain starts to think about The After Party Comedy Hoo Ha show that we are producing in a few weeks. WTF?? I cant even move my body cause I'm so out of it, but yet my brain is still in overdrive. Oookay.

I then head to my computer and commence emailing our podcasting guy Steve with questions about the show as well as our webguy about doing the appropriate updates. Its now 2am. I cannot sleep. Okay...I'll BLOG. Well, our friend Steve Strangio set up the blog account and for the life of me, I cannot remember the login info. Since we have so many various things we need to login to, its tough to keep track. Could it be...AfterPartyShow? TheAfterPartyShow? TheAfterPartyWebShow? StevesLeftAssCheek?

I DONT KNOW! Its 2am, I'm in and out of a Nyquil coma and I feel like crap. I figured that would make for a good blog, but alas it was not meant to be. Well, thankfully, a mere 14 hours later, I can finally blog and I'm still pretty cranky and feeling like crap. This is me right now...

So thanks to Steve for giving me the login info...it was StevesRIGHTasscheek as the login info.

I'm supposed to head to Long Beach tomorrow to meet up with Rob so we can check out a restaurant where we may have an After Party "party", but with the way I feel now (and look, judging by that picture), I may be a no show for old Robo man. Lets hope the rest of The AP Crew are having a good weekend...
