Hey Look!It's Steve and Donna!
Here's a picture of us during the HooHa
It's one of those "Nice" photos ... don't we look all nice and clean?
It's Sandy and Linda!

Don't they look all shmoozy?
Here they are hanging by the bar during the cocktail hour.
IT'S ROB!!!!
Here he is doin' the comedy thang for the show.Rob tore the house apart and kicked ass.
Listen to the show for his set.
Those three comedy guys!

Rich Walker, Steve Lazurus, and Paul Bond.
These are the "full time pro comedy guys" that rounded out the show.
Rich and Steve are the "comedy professors" of Stand Up University and
Paul is a national headliner currently working on a pilot for HBO.
All of those are pics from the HooHa ... before and during.
So to continue ...
The show started and I jumped up there, pumped to start the show.
You can see pics from the show and hear it in its entirety right here ....
After Party Comedy HooHa
The first spot is always a bit rough, but Linda and Donna did a phenomenal job warming up the crowd and getting them ready for comedy.
I volunteered to jump on the grenade and be the emcee, because that's pretty much the spot that has to keep the crowd going and control the show.
I quit professional stand-up many years ago and now I just do it when I feel the need to. It's kinda in my blood. The response to some of my jokes? Eh .. okay. I got a couple of applause breaks here and there (a bonus to all comedians during a set) and I felt it was a good start to the night.
Of course, my cell phone goes off right in the middle of my set! There's usually no reception in the studio, so I kept it on.
Kinda weird how it happened .... the "beep beep" of my cell indicating that I received a text message went off right in the middle of my routine about how much I hate telemarketers!
It was actually a text from my "hot friend" Holly ... indicating that she had arrived to the show. Of course, she was already there and sitting with Keith (whom I mentioned in an earlier blog). She had sent the damn text about 30 minutes earlier ... and I get it right in the middle of my routine!
Nice!
I just played along and rolled with it. Ya gotta do that, it's all a part of performing. If you listen to Part One of the audio file, you can hear the beeps while I perform.
So I finished my set, got the crowd ready for more show, and introduced Steve Lazurus as the first act.
What was happening behind the scenes during the show?
.... stay tuned!
