Donna hops with The Easter Bunny and My 6 million dollar man.

I love reading the blog when Linda, Steve and Rob are having a hopping good time
at the bars and body slamming until they can dance no mo'. At times I have to live vicariously through them...But what is Donna doing one might ask???? I'm having a hopping good time my self actually. Write me if you can relate. Well.. Here is my weekend. Friday night I was editing an autism video. I was on a tight deadline but when am I not on a tight deadline. Some days I run the clock and most days the clock seems to run me. On Friday I went to a Trade Show. I left to pick Matthew up
from day care. While at the preschool, Linda calls to say that Rob can't find All Music one of our sponsors to give him flyers for the upcoming show. I told her I would look it all up when I got home. BUT alas I didn't really make it home until Monday at 7:12 am. I brought Matthew home. Headed to the computer to check emails. Dan took Matthew so that I could run to an edit session. Then we had free tickets to go to the Ducks Baseball Game home opener but we didn't make it because on my way to the edit session I got 2 FLAT tires. Probably because I drove 8 hours on my tires the day before going to Atlantic City for meetings. None the less.. I was sitting stranded on the highway and I thought I had seized the engine. Trust me.. I've done it before. I ruined a Toyota in 1987.... the flash backs of killing a car because I was too busy to
change the oil were running rapid in my mind. So was the thought of getting killed because
my car was at the side of the highway just feet from an entrance ramp. I called my husband
because we both belong to triple A. Dan of course would have his card on him because
heaven knows I wouldn't have the triple A card on me. Thinking to myself... I'll never need
it. Dan my Man to the rescue. So... I had to call the editor of the video and tell him to please call his wife to say I need him to not go home to dinner and to edit with me as soon as I get new tires on.
It worked. Video is done for the most part.. BUT sad to say I was running so late that
the FREE Ducks tickets went unused. The next day Dan, Matthew and I went to a BLOW UP
amusement park for a birthday party. See Rob... You are the only one having Blow up fun.
It was great. Obstacle courses, slides, BIG bouncers. I am a kid so I enjoyed ALL of it.
Then off to the Melting Pot for my friend Kerry's surprise party for her Hubby. The next
day was an Egg Hunt. Who cares that it was 3 weeks after Easter. There were 500 eggs and 20 kids. Matthew loved it. It was an annual event that a friend of mine from the TV station hosts each year. I finally had a little guy that could actually get me IN so we had so much fun.
Stickers, doughnuts... and plastic dinosaurs. And what about my 6 million dollar man? I call
Dan that because in the short 4 years we have been married he has had several surgeries.
One back surgery because two elderly people rear ended him in a car. Two he had a "V" after 6 kids.. He needed to. Three he had a double hernia from working out too much. Four He is now having his tonsils out and his sinuses worked on. Every few months he has to go in and have some type of work done. Maybe he just likes it when I dress up for him and play nurse. Who knows.. but we are always busy at our house. THEN to top if off.. I priced over 300 items that belong to friends that are currently in my DEN so that we can have a garage sale on May 3rd.
Come on DOWN. I live in Melville, NY. OH.. and I forgot to mention that I braided Elise's hair,
had to drive up to the church to sign permission slips for Andrew and Elise to play volleyball,
and had to deal with Andrew trying to paint his own car bumper after getting his car paint chipped off by rocks at the beach even though I had just paid 913.00 for his car to be repaired from his last incident. Life.. I love it.. I truly do.
